Academy of St. Paul & St. Ann has attained “Master Status” in the Accelerated Reading Program. Students in grades Kindergarten through 8 are assigned reading and are tested on this reading until they reach their goal.

The goal of the Accelerated Reading Program is to foster a love for reading which will last the students throughout their lives.

At its heart, Accelerated Reader (AR) is simple. Students read a book, take an AR Quiz, and get immediate feedback. Kids get excited and motivated when they see their progress. And teachers can easily monitor and manage students' independent reading practice. Teachers can set personalized goals for each student and easily monitor progress towards goals. Teachers get reliable reports on reading comprehension, vocabulary, literacy skills, and more.
