Blending Learning is an approach to teaching and learning that couples best practices and educational technology. Blending Learning facilitates data-driven instruction, promotes student engagement and differentiates instruction. In 2015, St. Ann School launched a school wide initiative to implement Blended Learning; the Academy has adopted this initiative. Teachers utilized the “station-rotation model,” in which students rotate through three centers:

• Station 1: Direct instruction with the teacher
• Station 2: Collaborative learning with a small group of peers
• Station 3: Individual learning on iPads or Chromebooks
