It is with great sadness that we must announce that the Academy of St. Paul & St. Ann will not reopen next year. The current academic year will be our last. Academy families will be able to contact Archdiocese directors of enrollment to seek placement at another Archdiocesan Catholic school. Please visit catholicschoolsny.org/announcements for further information and updates.
Catholic Schools Week is just around the corner! Celebrate Catholic Schools Week will take place on Sunday, January 29, through Saturday, February 4, 2023. This year’s theme is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” Catholic schools will share how they form students to be good citizens of the world, love God and neighbor, and enrich society with the leaven of the gospel and by example of faith.
We invite prospective parents who are looking to place their children in a high-quality 3K/UPK or K through 8th Grade Program for the 2023-2024 school year to come see the value of a Catholic education for themselves. To book a visit, make an individual appointment by calling us at (212) 534-0619, or come to one of the special TOURING TUESDAYS open house events which we are hosting on any of the dates below from 9:00am to 11:00am: November 15, 2022, January 10, 2023, January 31, 2023, February 28, 2023, and March 28, 2023.
As we prepare our building for re-opening, please know that we will be holding virtual office hours, and in-person meetings by appointment only, Monday – Thursday from 8am – 3pm. Feel free to leave a message on our main office line at 212-534-0619.
Regional Superintendent Mr. Anthony Biscione announced the appointment of Mr. John-Paul Barnaba as the next Principal of St. Paul School, effective August 1, 2020.
Our students will continue to use the MyON web based program to continue reading. This is in agreement with the Carmel Hill Fund, who provides funding and access to our students. The Academy will also offer a unique summer academic experience via distance learning through the Manhattan Plus Program. This will be an individualized approach to summer academic work.
All students in Kindergarten-Grade 8 are required to wear the Academy uniform. Uniforms can be ordered through Flynn and O'Hara Uniforms, Inc. Click on the title above for information on how to order. (Note: Universal Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 students are not required to wear the school uniform.)
Each family who enrolls for school year 2020-21, and remains enrolled, will receive a credit on their December 2020 tuition bill for the full amount of the registration fees they paid. Click the title to learn more!

The Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of New York has extended the physical closure of all Archdiocesan elementary schools through the end of June 2020. In light of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Saint Paul School will continue online instruction through the end of the current school year. This is a difficult decision and we hope to be there for all the members of our school community as the school year continues. Please reach out to us with any concerns about this. Thank you.
We invite you to experience St. Paul School in action by visiting us any time during the year. See our high quality UPK 3, UPK 4 and Grades K-8 classes for yourself.
